Document assembly for Missouri family-law offices

Uncontested divorce paperwork, assembled in your own words, in your own browser

You already know what goes in a Missouri uncontested dissolution packet. The petition, the entry of appearance, the settlement agreement, the parenting plan when there are kids, the judgment. Same structure every time, different names, dates, dollar figures and children.

This tool fills in what changes, so your staff stops retyping what doesn’t.

If you want to poke at it first, the public demo has two fictional sample cases one click away. Nothing you type in it leaves your browser.

The public demo: a ten-step intake down the left side, the court and case step open, with two fictional sample cases one click away at the top

The public demo. Every page it produces is stamped “SAMPLE DOCUMENT: FICTIONAL DATA ONLY. NOT FOR FILING.”

What it does

  • A step-by-step intake that only asks what the case needs. No children? The children questions disappear, the parenting plan drops out, and the settlement agreement renumbers itself.
  • A review screen that shows every answer before anything is produced.
  • One button that downloads the whole packet as Word files, ready for your attorney to read, edit and sign.
  • Built from your firm’s own uncontested pleadings, in your wording and your caption. If you would rather start from the standard Missouri packet, your attorney reviews it first and then it moves to your wording.
  • Save a matter as a file you keep with the case, open it later, change what changed, and generate again. Optionally locked with a passphrase.

What it does not do

  • It does not calculate child support. Your attorney enters the Form 14 figures. The tool says so on the screen and prints exactly what was entered.
  • It does not write legal language. It fills in your pleadings. Anything it had to decide is written down in a list your attorney goes through with me before go-live.
  • It has no AI in it. Nothing is generated by a model when your staff uses it. It is a form and your templates.
  • It does not make PDFs. You get Word files. Converting to PDF for e-filing stays with your office.

Where your clients’ information goes

Nowhere. That’s the whole design.

  • The tool runs entirely in the browser. There is no server code, no database, and no account to log in to. The web host only hands your browser one file.
  • What your staff types never leaves the computer it was typed on. The page is built so that the browser itself refuses to send data anywhere.
  • The same build runs offline, from a single file, with no internet connection at all.
  • You don’t have to take my word for it. Open the browser’s developer tools, watch the network tab, load a case and generate the packet. The list stays empty.

How it works

  1. A 20-minute working session. I run the demo with you and we talk through how your office does these. If it fits, you send me two sample pleadings: fictional, or scrubbed of anything real. I never ask for a real client file.
  2. A preview within 48 hours of your sample pleadings reaching me. Your documents, assembling in the tool, at a preview address made for your firm.
  3. The install. It gets built from your pleadings, I go through the review list with your attorney, and it goes on its own web address for your firm.
  4. Go-live. Your staff uses it with two sample cases pre-loaded for training.

Price

$2,500 to install

That covers the app built from your pleadings, the review with your attorney, its own web address and hosting setup, and the two training cases.

$500 a month after go-live

That covers:

  • hosting and uptime;
  • form updates within 10 business days of a court change reaching me;
  • one change request a month;
  • an offline copy whenever you ask for one;
  • a check every quarter: both sample cases regenerated, the tests re-run, the no-network check repeated, and the results sent to you.

Cancel with 30 days’ notice, and continue to host the last update of the tool yourself.

Guarantee: if your first real packet is not assembled in your format within 30 days of go-live, the install fee comes back to you.

Who is behind this

It’s me, D.J. Gelner, and an unreasonable amount of automation. I run the calls, and I’m the one you hear from when something needs to change.

Questions

Do we have to change how we draft?
No. The point is that it produces what you already file.
What if the court changes a form?
Updating it is part of the monthly fee, within 10 business days of the change reaching me.
Can we try it before paying?
The public demo is the free trial. It uses fictional cases and stamps every page “SAMPLE DOCUMENT: FICTIONAL DATA ONLY. NOT FOR FILING.” The preview of your own documents comes before any invoice.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is a document-assembly tool. Your attorney reviews and signs everything it produces.
